Japanese
Japanese whisky follows the Scotch tradition of double distilling malted and/or peated barley before maturing in wooden barrels. Whisky making in Japan started circa 1870, with the first official distillery, Yamazaki, established in 1923.
Here at The Corkscrew, you will find a stunning selection of Japanese whiskies from House Of Suntory such as Hibiki and Hakushu, Nikka, one of the most popular Japanese cask strength whiskies and Shirakawa, the world's rarest Japanese Whisky.
