Nicolas Girard - Loire Valley
The Girard family manages a total of 12 hectares of vineyards. The chalky soil enhances the unique flinty, mineral, and green flavors of Sauvignon Blanc. On the well-drained, warm slopes of La Garenne, the grapes reach outstanding ripeness and fruit quality. The Girards utilize a top-notch fermentation vat and employ modern technology in their winemaking process. They follow traditional vineyard practices by using herbicides and treatments minimally while refraining from adding commercial yeasts for fermentation or flavour enhancement.
