Product Description
Oak is pronounced, but well integrated into this rich wine full of pear and nectarine. The intense and complex nose is reminiscent of a Côte de Beaune. Palate matches the nose with full bodied, creamy, biscuity, yeasty flavours, yet finishes with a light mouthfeel due to cleansing fruity acidity.Rich and complex, where oak is well balanced by the spontaneous lees. This is a wine that has been untouched since the grape juice was filled into the barrels and left there to ferment spontaneously, partially go through MLC and stabilised and clarified itself naturally without agitation, stirring or filtration.
Very enjoyable full white that can be expected to improve as it ages to tame the oak further and highlight the ripe nectarines. We recommend this wine to be enjoyed from a large Burgundy glass at 12-14’CABV 14%
