Bodegas Aessir started off with the help of the Carbó family in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, Barcelona, who has been in the CAVA business since 1929 and controlling 8 hectares of different varieties of the family has been consolidated in the sector where nowadays is a referent in the Market due to all the international awards and recognitions obtained with it’s cava star La Crusset Brut Nature Reserva has been selected as best cava quality -price in 2015 and 2017. The proposal of Bodegas Aessir is committed to unique and odd projects such as the production of wines made of the Bobal variety in the province of Cuenca at 969 meters above sea level, in a unique environment such as the closest area to the "Natural Reserve of the Hoces del Cabriel", where the combination of the Peninsular and Mediterranean climate together with the thermal difference between day and night due to the height of almost 1000m make this a unique spot for the elaboration of wines with the variety Bobal in 6 hectares of old vines over 60 years. Finally, in the heart of the DOP Terra Alta, in Gandesa, Bodegas Aessir has produced 3 new wines as last qualitative and odd project in 4 old vines hectares controlled in a clay-calcareous soil at 480m height in the pre-littoral mountain ranges and under the breeze of the Garbinada wind, with the white Grenache as the center of the project along with the red wine “The Horse of Barcelona“, ​​designed by the sculptor Xavier Dols creator of the sculpture.
