Product Description
The estate wines grow in vineyards around Saulheim. The soils are characterized by limestone sediments and loess-loam layers.After selective harvesting in several stages, the berries were lightly crushed in the cellar and left in their juice for 12 hours to achieve better aroma extraction. The must was fermented with natural yeasts from the vineyard for 6 weeks in 90% stainless steel and 10% older wooden barrels (German oak) and bottled in March 2022 after 5 months of full yeast storage.

James Suckling 92 Points -Thörle Riesling Rheinhessen trocken 2022 – A very striking wine with stacks of flinty and cool stone fruit character. Only just beginning to open up, but the harmony on the juicy, medium-bodied palate is already spot on. So much chalky minerality at the long, polished finish. From organically grown grapes. Vegan. Drink or hold. Screw cap.
