Casa Emma Chianti Classico (92 points )
Shows terrific Sangiovese character, delivering black currant, black cherry, graphite, leather and leafy tobacco aromas and flavors. The tannins have a stranglehold on the finish now, but this displays purity. Needs time for the two halves to come together. Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Malvasia Nera. —Bruce Sanderson
Tom Doorley: 26/04/2020 - A brilliant producers entry level wine but what a wine! Bittersweet dark cherry, a racy backbone of acidity, silky and savoury. A steak tagliata anyone?
