Pétrus is widely acclaimed as one of the most esteemed and exorbitantly priced wines globally. Familiar to many and tasted by few, Pétrus is synonymous with the most luxurious and collectable of fine and rare wines. Made using 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc, it has garnered a reputation for its unparalleled richness and full-bodied flavor profile, characterized by discernible nuances of dark fruit, truffle, leather, and spice. The meticulous ageing process in oak barrels spanning several years imparts an intricately layered and refined taste to this extraordinary wine. Robert Parker: "The delicious 2007 is the first Petrus in a number of years that can be drunk immediately. Relatively big for the vintage, it offers a dark plum/ruby/purple color as well as aromas of mulberries, black cherries, cedarwood, and soil undertones, loads of fruit, a plump, medium to full-bodied mouthfeel, silky tannins, and low acidity. It should drink nicely for 15 or more years." ABV 13%
