Product Description
2008 was characterised by changeable weather with a mild winter followed by a cool, wet spring which slowed down the first stages of growth and reduced fruit set. The weather had improved by the end of June but it was followed by near-drought conditions, only broken by torrential rain in mid-August. At the end of August, conditions were more stable and the harvest took place at the usual time.
