Developed in partnership with Master Blender Noel Sweeney, this five-year-old triple-cask blend harmonizes grain whiskey and double-distilled malt aged in bourbon, port, and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. This whiskey embodies the classic Irish Whiskey profile with a velvety complexity. Its aroma offers a delightful fusion of honey sweetness, citrus notes, cherries, chocolate, soft maltiness, and a touch of bourbon richness. The palate is velvety and luscious, presenting biscuit sweetness intertwined with the decadent flavours of Christmas cake fruits and spiced cherries, all balanced by charred oak. The finish is enduringly dry with hints of spicy oak and lingering sweet chocolate nuances.
