A great wine ideal for casual sipping or alfresco dining, it is dedicated to 3 very fine and wooly sheep who roam near the vineyards in Marlborough but keep well away from the precious vines. Made by the Lawsons Family Vineyards, a byword for quality New Zealand Sauvignon, this fresh, crisp wine's fun label has created a cult following.
This quality wine has classic Marlborough aromas of citrus and limes with elderflower and grapefruit notes. The palate is concentrated with lemon zest, stonefruit and floral flavours filling the mouth. The wine finishes crisp, clean and dry.

Dog Point is one of the oldest private vineyards in Marlborough, New Zealand’s premium wine-growing region and they produce outstanding top-quality wines year after year. It is the label from two Marlborough legends, Ivan Sutherland and James Healy who were part of the success story behind Cloudy Bay and they put New Zealand wines on the map. On the palate, there is an obvious relationship with the Chassagne-Montrachet, its neighbour. Vigorous, full-bodied, it expresses itself in a bouquet (hazelnut, fern) Pairs exquisitely with fish, seafood, shellfish or creamy white meat or enjoy as an aperitif!!
1 X Vincent Girardin Volnay Vieilles Vignes 2018 Volnay combines breeding with nobility, delicacy, elegance and feminity. bright ruby, light garnet, its aromas of violet, redcurrant, cherry and with age spices, and cooked prune. Fresh on the palate, warm on the finish, one believes to bite into the fruit and breathe its flesh. Pairs great with roasted or stewed game birds. Couscous or tagine with meat or poultry or both. Cheeses with strong flavours.
1 X Vincent Girardin Pommard Vieilles Vignes 2018 The Pommard wine has a dark red colour with intense and percussive aromas of blackcurrant, musk and game. Taste dominated by astringency thanks to well-marked acidity and a mellowness that only appears after a minimum of maturation. One of the most tannic and solid of Burgundies. Serve with game or various cheeses. Red meat.
1 X Vincent Girardin Puligny-Montrachet Vieilles Vignes 2017 The nose suggests fern, hawthorn, ripe grapes, marzipan, hazelnut, amber, lemongrass, green apple. Mineral (flint) and lactic (butter) aromas are frequent. Honey is usual, especially after a few years of keeping. The body and the bouquet melt with age. Concentration is remarkable. Pairs well with foie gras, poultry in sauce, lobster, spiny lobster, grilled sea fish.
1 X Vincent Girardin Mersault Vieilles Vignes 2018 Delicious combination of roasted almond and hazelnut with vegetal and floral (hawthorn, elderberry, fern, linden, verbena) and mineral (flint) notes. Butter, honey, citrus fruits also solicit the nose. On the palate, a rich wine with a hazelnut flavor, fond and joyful. Beautiful balance between unctuousness and freshness. Long and structured. Pairs well with blue cheeses and foie gras, veal or poultry in white sauce, grilled shellfish in sauce.
4 X Vincent Girardin Santenay Rouge Vieilles Vignes 2018 A nose of small fruits (raspberry, redcurrant, blueberry), spices (pepper, cinnamon), nuance of violet, mint, liquorice, or balsamic notes (pine resin). A mouth of fruity aromas. Full-bodied, it's serious and accomplished. Pairs beautifully with roast veal, duck with green pepper, coq au vin, game, cheeses
