Graciano Strikes Gold
Happy Independence Day! We've just received some exciting news about Bodegas Cornelio, one of our beloved wineries. The esteemed Decanter Wine Awards have honoured four of their wines with outstanding scores and ratings.
The exceptional Vega Vella Graciano 2021 received an impressive 96 Points, earning a well-deserved gold medal. Three other wines from Bodegas Cornelio secured Silver medals, but those vintages are yet to arrive. Fortunately, we have ample stock of the award-winning Graciano and will be uncorking some bottles in the coming days. We'll keep you posted on their arrival.

Decanter said: “A surprising array of raspberries, cherries and red plums with a lively interplay of aromatic herbs and violet flowers. Lively and expressive, with a dark chocolate finish”.
This wine comes from an exclusive selection of bunches of Graciano grapes, a variety native to Rioja, with lower production and older grapes. It is a wine that combines perfectly with the characteristics of the soil and climate. It is meticulously made and aged for 14 months in new French oak barrels and 10 months in the bottle.
