Irish Independent Weekend Magazine 100 Best Small Shops
- by Ciaran Mc Donnell
A week after celebrating our first year on Harry Street we have received even more good news. A huge thank you to Aoife Carrigy for featuring our beloved shop in this weekend's Irish Independent Weekend Magazines 100 Best Small Shops. It's an honour to be listed.
Thank you to our wonderful team, loyal customers and brilliant suppliers, we wouldn't be here without you....
Aoife Carrigy wrote "After two decades on Chatham Street, it was a big move - if a short hop - for Paul and Fiona Foley to relocate the wine shop founded by his father Peter. That move around the corner to Dublin's old Weights & Measures building was kind of homecoming, given that Peter Foley had once managed Berry Bros & Rudd Wine Merchant's Irish outpost in the same building. The extra space has allowed Paul and Fiona to add to their impressive wine selection (40pc of which are exclusive imports, with a particularly strong champagne selection and cellar management services) and to invest in a serious whiskey range with a vaulted tasting space and bottle-your-own whiskey experience.
